1. Information We Collect
We collect no personal information whatsoever. TapVoca works offline for everyday study. The only optional exception is the bulk-import feature, described in Section 3.
The following types of data are explicitly not collected:
- Names, email addresses, or account information
- Location data
- Device identifiers
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Vocabulary words or study content you enter
2. Data Storage
All data you create in TapVoca — including vocabulary words, topics (notebooks),
and app settings — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage
(localStorage).
Your data never leaves your device. There are no servers, no databases, and no cloud synchronization. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all associated data from your device.
3. Third-Party Services
TapVoca does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No SDKs that collect user data are included in the app.
Optional bulk import. If you choose to import words from a Google Sheet, the app fetches the contents of that public sheet URL over the internet. No personal data is sent, and nothing is collected or stored on any server — imported words are saved only on your device. Importing from an Excel/CSV file is fully on-device and uses no internet connection.
4. Permissions
TapVoca requests the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — To send optional daily study reminder notifications at a time you choose. You can decline this permission; the app works fully without it.
- VIBRATE — To provide haptic feedback when you tap vocabulary cards.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — To re-register your daily reminder after the device restarts.
None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.
5. Children's Privacy
TapVoca does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data at all, TapVoca is safe for users of all ages.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

1. 수집하는 정보
TapVoca는 어떠한 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다. TapVoca는 일상적인 학습은 오프라인으로 동작하며, 유일한 선택적 예외는 제3항에서 설명하는 일괄 가져오기 기능입니다.
다음 유형의 데이터는 수집되지 않습니다:
- 이름, 이메일 주소 등 계정 정보
- 위치 데이터
- 기기 식별자
- 사용 분석 또는 행동 데이터
- 사용자가 입력한 단어 또는 학습 콘텐츠
2. 데이터 저장
TapVoca에서 생성한 모든 데이터(단어, 토픽, 앱 설정)는
기기의 로컬 저장소(localStorage)에만 저장됩니다.
데이터는 절대 기기 밖으로 전송되지 않습니다. 서버, 데이터베이스, 클라우드 동기화는 존재하지 않습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 모든 관련 데이터가 기기에서 영구 삭제됩니다.
3. 제3자 서비스
TapVoca는 분석, 광고, 추적 등 제3자 서비스와 연동되지 않습니다. 사용자 데이터를 수집하는 어떤 SDK도 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
선택적 일괄 가져오기. 사용자가 구글시트에서 단어를 가져오기로 선택하면, 앱은 해당 공개 시트 URL의 내용을 인터넷으로 불러옵니다. 어떤 개인정보도 전송되지 않으며, 서버에 수집·저장되는 것은 전혀 없습니다 — 가져온 단어는 사용자의 기기에만 저장됩니다. 엑셀/CSV 파일 가져오기는 전적으로 기기 내에서 처리되며 인터넷을 사용하지 않습니다.
4. 앱 권한
TapVoca가 요청하는 Android 권한:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — 사용자가 정한 시간에 학습 리마인더 알림 전송용. 권한 거부 시에도 앱의 모든 기능은 정상 작동합니다.
- VIBRATE — 단어 카드 탭 시 햅틱 피드백 제공용.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — 기기 재시작 후 매일 리마인더 알림을 재등록하기 위함.
이 권한들은 개인 데이터를 수집하거나 전송하는 데 사용되지 않습니다.
5. 아동 개인정보 보호
TapVoca는 만 14세 미만 아동의 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 어떠한 개인 데이터도 수집하지 않으므로 모든 연령대가 안전하게 사용할 수 있습니다.
6. 방침 변경
본 개인정보처리방침은 변경될 수 있습니다. 변경 시 이 페이지의 "최종 수정일"이 업데이트됩니다. 변경 후 앱을 계속 사용하면 변경된 방침에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다.
